We were recently able to do another pop up at Market by Macy's in Dallas, Texas. This was our second time being there and both times were amazing! We got to see customers try our Eastern-inspired kids PJs for the first time ever and love how soft they are, but also how vibrant and unique our prints are. Plus, many people loved how lightweight the items were. Our goal has always been to be in mainstream stores and we were so glad to make it happen!
I was so excited to see Jasmine + Marigold at Market by Macy's for our second pop up this year!
Macy's is a large department store chain that sells clothing and accessories, as well as home goods. Their new concept "Market by Macy's" supports small brands and invites them to do pop ups. We were invited for Texas' Tax Free Weekend and were able to show our collection at the same location as other brands - which was really fun! The first time we did it, we celebrated Ramadan at Macy's with a huge event featuring author Ndaa Hassan. This time around it felt like we sold even more items than before!
We were able to showcase our small Eastern Inspired bamboo PJ collection in Dallas for the second time, and it was AMAZING. We were able to show our collection to new customers, as well as customers who wanted to buy it for their friends and family.
As always, we had a great time meeting everyone who came through our pop up shop!
I loved seeing customers enjoy our work and be surprised by how soft our items were. They also loved how vibrant and unique our prints were. Most customers were new to our brand, but the ones who did know about us had previously bought multiples as gifts for friends and family members. It was over 108 in Dallas so low foot traffic, but people stopped to admire the window display we created at Macy's Pop Up Shop! I loved seeing my kids so happy to see my brand at the store.
Our goal has always been to be in mainstream stores and we were so glad to make it happen! Seeing our work on display, being worn by customers, and seeing how much everyone loved it was amazing. The Eastern prints translated to all audiences which has always been our goal--they loved how vibrant and unique our prints were.
We're so happy that we were able to showcase our collection in a store like Macy's, and we can't wait for our next pop up at Market by Macy's!
